Consultant
In this entry level, client-facing consulting role you will:
  • Work with insurance companies to recover additional payments for our hospital clients, including follow-up calls and written appeals;
  • Deliver premium client service through effective verbal and written communication in order to identify client (hospital) needs, perform reviews, provide recommendations, and communicate project results;
  • Closely examine contract language and translate into data modeling to facilitate proper pricing using Cloudmed software platforms;
  • Support algorithm research, development, and maintenance for the purpose of processing hospital data to identify underpayments;
  • Interact effectively with Cloudmed internal teams to assist data reviews or claim resolution, clarify project or client-specific processes;
  • Continue to innovate Cloudmed’s review process through research, data analytics, and trending;
  • Research and proactively apply new hospital regulations and legislations;
  • Work effectively on a dynamic team; Organize, automate, and record team processes for training and documentation keeping;
  • Participate in Cloudmed’s training programs, periodic teambuilding events, and volunteer activities;
  • Comply with HIPAA privacy standards at all times and display a high level of professionalism when handling patient medical records
Who we’re looking for:
  • BS/BA – Economics/Business/Science preferred, all Majors are encouraged to apply;
  • Minimum GPA 3.0;
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
  • Self-starter who is eager to learn, and can work both independently and in a team environment;
  • Detail-oriented, with demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks;
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Team-oriented with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills;
  • Professional and respectful representatives of Cloudmed and our clients;
  • Ability to build trust and confidence with clients through effective interaction, training, and collaboration;
