Intern - Industry Sector Services
The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) is one of the largest trade associations in the nation, representing more than 300 heating, water heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and commercial refrigeration manufacturers within the global HVACR industry. Our 300+ member companies produce more than 90 percent of the residential and commercial air conditioning, heating, water heating, and commercial refrigeration equipment made in North America. Through our certification program, standards, advocacy, and other activities, we strive to help save energy, improve productivity, and ensure a better environment.
Each year AHRI offers the AHRI Work Experience Program, a paid internship focused on providing local college students with opportunities to increase skills in problem-solving, communication, and research through the assignment of professional projects. The program is normally 6 - 8 weeks, and internships are offered in various departments.
AHRI is seeking an intern to work in the Industry Sector Services Department on various projects. This is a paid internship of up to 35 hours a week at our office in Arlington, Virginia.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate or Undergraduate student majoring in Engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
