The Role in Brief:
The Marketing Associate will be responsible for day-to-day interactions with our prospective European members in the health care practice. Marketing Associates play a major role in the business development process, from initial contact with a prospect to facilitating momentum of a positive decision toward membership.

Our current opportunity is located in our London, England office with our International team.

Specific Responsibilities:
Business Development Activities
- Target prospective members through background market research and direct contact by phone and e-mail
- Recruit prospective members to attend marketing meetings and annual meetings
- Schedule marketing appointments with prospective members to meet monthly goals
- Assist Associate Director with relationship-building through efforts such as initial outreach, creating materials in preparation for marketing meetings and developing a strategy designed to facilitate a positive outcome
- Prepare follow-up materials after marketing meetings
- Participate in finalizing membership agreements and closing prospects
- Maintain prospective membership pool through telephone networking and campaigns

Marketing Activities
- Prepare background institution and market research in preparation for marketing visits
- Assist in development of targeted marketing activities including networking, mail mergers and other marketing campaigns
- Monitor industry trends and institution-specific issues in order to tailor marketing efforts
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all research
- Assist colleagues through collaboration, mentoring and coaching activities

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Eligible to work on own in the UK
- Excellent academic record
- Must possess at least two of the following
     - Leadership experience
     - Customer service experience
     - Experience working in a team environment
     - Sales or fundraising experience
     - Experience in an office setting

Ideal Qualifications: 
- Proven ability to meet and exceed goals
- Ability to communicate by e-mail and phone with senior executives
- Proven experience managing multiple, competing priorities while working towards an established goal
- Ability to  overcome challenges or obstacles in the moment
- Proven persuasive experience
- Attention to detail
