igc Partners offers a 10 week summer internship program that allows interns to fully understand and participate in a wide range of M&A transactions in different sectors.
Students are able to not only learn about and develop materials, but also to meet clients and participate in the decision-making process of each deal.
Interns that perform highly can be invited to begin as analysts the following year, once their undergraduate degree is completed.

We are looking for students with a minimum GPA of 3.0, concentrating in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or Business (ideally juniors who will graduate in 2019) who are very determined, focused and result-oriented. In M&A we work on the entire timeline of the deal, and summer interns will participate in all stages. So, many different tasks will be involved, ranging from Excel and PowerPoint capabilities such as putting a DCF valuation together, an Information Memorandum to describe a company or review final deal contracts, up until people skills when the summer interns will join Associates in client meetings and presentations to buyers.
